The Building

Earls Hall is a place that allows you to be yourself.  It’s all very warm, cosy and both child and pet friendly.  There are two sitting rooms to spread out in, one positively gracious with piano and wood burning stove (all wood provided) and a fine dining room with stove and impressive portraits, suitably atmospheric for that big night of entertaining (the table seats 16, although has squeezed in far more in its time).  A dual fuel range cooker with two ovens rules the light and spacious kitchen and there are six bedrooms for a multitude of guests.  The lovingly maintained large, peaceful grounds offer a stream, orchard, vegetable garden and many mature trees, not forgetting a ceramic pizza oven that is always a hit with the kids. And with short breaks starting at just £500, what more could a large group ask for?

Accommodation

Some of the décor is classic English eccentric, evidence of the various tastes of the owner’s father’s four wives, each of whom originated from a different continent!
 There are three double bedrooms, a twin room, a bunk room accommodating three children and a family bedroom with two double beds. In addition, the two sitting rooms each have double sofa beds, so up to 19 can be accommodated in comfort. There are three bathrooms, and an additional two downstairs loos.

Facilities

The kitchen is modern and well equipped. There is also a handy utility room with two washing machines and another cooker, useful if part of your group prefers to eat independently. Bed linen and towels are provided. 
Amazingly you can harvest delicious fruit and vegetables from the garden when in season (within reason). If anyone says they are bored there are 100’s of videos, DVD’s and games to choose from, a full size table tennis table and wireless broadband. There are hammocks, croquet and badminton sets, a very rabbity tennis court, and a few assorted bikes provided. A network of quiet country lanes, ideal for cycling, surrounds the house. It would be possible to host a small conference here, as there are plenty of comfortable meeting areas.
